“One of Briana’s many admirable attributes is her dedication to student success as a lead instructor in Application of Clinical Genetics and as a guest lecturer in other coursework. She exemplified patience, transparency, thoughtfulness, and a willingness to be adaptable to our needs and interests by asking for feedback and incorporating our curiosity into class topics. It was clear how hard she worked to make course content relevant and valuable. Beyond this, she helped us build a core of knowledge and resources that we could draw from—not only as we began clinical rotations but as we head into the profession as independent genetic counselors.
