In May of 2019, the UUGPGC Class of 2019 awarded Heather Bagley, MS, LCGC of Intermountain Medical Center, Oncology, the ninth annual UUGPGC Teaching Award. Heather is the co-chair of the UUGPGC Admissions Committee, co-director of the Genetic Counseling Seminar II course, lecturer, mentor, and clinical supervisor. From the class of 2019, “Heather was a great discussion leader for the various topics covered in the GC Seminar course. She was thoughtful when bringing up discussion points the class had not considered and challenged students to see different perspectives. She provided emotional support both in and out of class. She encouraged students to take care of themselves which showcased her desire to have them succeed both professionally and personally.” Congratulations to Heather!
