The UUGPGC students and assistant director were honored to attend the Department of Human Genetics Annual Retreat in Deer Valley, UT. The retreat highlights the research and work throughout the Human Genetics Department and emphasizes presentations by its graduate students. Participating in the retreat allowed the UUGPGC and Human Genetics Department to learn more about each other’s research and educational goals, as well as provide opportunities for collaboration and project development. This is the second time the UUGPGC students and directors have been invited to attend the retreat and it continues to be a wonderful experience!
