Kaylee is a licensed and certified metabolic genetic counselor at Valley Children’s Hospital in Central California. She works with an interdisciplinary team and sees both general genetics and metabolism patients. Her current professional interests are newborn screening, transition care for adolescent patients, and facilitating the cystic fibrosis clinic.

Current Employment: Intermountain Healthcare, doing clinical oncology genetic counseling

Led a project funded by the Utah Department of Health to increase access to genetic counseling/testing for prostate cancer patients across all of Utah.

Organized a meeting between the clinical oncology GCs and the Intermountain genomics laboratory to review cases of somatic mutations that need germline confirmation.

Member of the Career Growth Committee for Intermountain Precision Genomics.

Ashlie Miller is a genetic counselor who cares for patients with cancer.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a concentration in molecular and cellular biology, at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), Ashlie earned a master’s degree in genetic counseling from the University of Utah.
